    My display supports HDR but Windows 11 says its unsupported please help


    My display supports HDR 400 I believe however the settings app says it's unsupported. I can launch a game like Destiny 2 and it will switch to HDR mode but I can't get windows to see my display as HDR at all. Please help

    HDR support for windows 11

    Hi Nadeem. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

    I would contact LG Support which is included with the monitor purchase for at least the first year, during which they must get it working properly or repair or replace it under warranty.

    Windows says it cant display HDR.

    My GPU supports HDR, my pc supports HDR, my monitor says it supports HDR, but it says it can't display HDR, I've installed the updates and drivers but still nothing. Please help. Its not needed but I would like HDR.

    Windows says it cant display HDR.

    Your hardware as listed in Systems 1 and 2 is too old to support HDR.
    That is both any iGPU or Graphics Card.

    Why worry as you say you don't need it anyway.
