Windows 10: My dog jumped on my laptop and hit something, now I can't type the letter P instead * shows...

My dog hit something on my laptop and I seen something pop up on the bottom on my screen but it went away before I could properly see it. Now when I try to type M, P, or L, the other keys are typed instead. Which is *,3, and 0. I tired uninstalling and reinstall the keyboard but it didn't work. How do I fix?

Whenever I type letters, the ones that appear are the closest number to the letter instead. Like they are swapped. How do I fix this?

When I type the letter q, number 1 appears instead. And when I type number 1, letter q appears instead. When I type letter W, number 2 appears instead. And when I type number 2, letter W appears instead. Whenever I type letters, the ones that appear are the closest number to the letter instead. And whenever I type numbers, letters closest to them appears instead like they are swapped. How do I fix this?

My only affected keys are Q, W, E, R, T, Y, U, I, O, P, and the rest of the numbers 1-0.

 

File explorer: Keyboard letters to "jump" through folders and files ignores all but the first letter now, no matter how fast I type

TO REPRODUCE ISSUE: open File Explorer > click in the "right-hand" box > type a two-letter combo

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: jump down the list to items beginning with those two letters..

ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR jumps down the list FIRST to the first item starting with [first letter typed]" THEN to item starting with [second letter typed].

HISTORY: after at least 15 years of Expected Behaviour, the new behaviour showed up a couple of months ago on all the dozens of PCs I use, Win10 and Win11. Been waiting patiently for Microsoft to go "doh" and fix it

CONTEXT:

1. I am a fast typer.

2. File Explorer > Options > Folder Options > View tab > (scroll down to) When typing into list view > is set to "Select the typed item in the view"
