Windows 10: my download speeds are really really low

so recently i had to download something for a school project, it is 14.7 mb so it should be taking just a couple seconds right? well no instead its taking 4 hours, why and how is this happening it shouldnt be happening since my storage has 14 gigabytes left its a school laptop so doesnt need much storage and it is currently on windows 10 pls help cause i dont want to have to wait for multiple small files to take hours to download

Store Download Speed is really fast!!

Store Download Speed is really faster than my normal download speed!

I have an Internet connection of 50mbps speed.

Maximum speed I recieve when downloading from Browser is 6-8mbps.

But when I tried to download some apps from Windows 10 Store, I shocked to see that

the speed was really faster , it was around 50mbps & above..

Later I thought it could be because of the app server but for all apps its the same and faster!

Hi every one, I really appreciated your suggestions which seem to focus on the same

elements. I have tried several of the suggetions and have generally discovered that

the network adaptor driver was very relevant but up to date and working well.

I might have not been clear. The connection is there, but the speed is very slow.

It was 500 to 600 before but now is in low double figures (20 to 40).

Do these suggestions also apply to very low speed (bad connection) ?

Microsoft store download speeds and windows 10 app load speeds are very slow

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
• I've tried all the below steps suggested by Eeshwar Kumar in this link: Why is Windows Store's download speed so slow?
• And also all by Jane La in the below: Microsoft Store Very Low Download Speeds
