Windows 10: My drive's storage got reduced

DISCLAIMER: I don't blame or hate Linux for anything.So, I tried to install Linux to dual-boot it with Windows. I chose to install Linux in a different partition. I'm not too tech-savvy so I didn't really know what to do and whenever I would try to install Linux in a partition, it would say something like "There's no root file" I don't really remember what it said. So, I was looking more and I clicked on a partition It's not really a partition, it's just a part of the drive storage and noticed there was a "+" and "-" symbol. The "+" symbol was grayed out, so, out of curiosity, I clicked on

How to remove a bad drive in Windows 10 storage spaces pool

Could someone list the steps involved in replacing a bad drive from a Windows 10 storage spaces pool? I cannot find any info on the Microsoft support site that is specific to Windows 10. Also, could you list the steps to remove a 'good' drive and replace
it with another drive if the process is different?

 

What's eating up my \C: drive?

That reduced System Volume Information to 662 KB, left $GetCurrent at 3.8 GB which is called media when clicking the little arrow. Storage sense or Disk cleanup gave no reference to $GetCurrent, and the [2 files] are pagefile.sys and swapfile.sys.

I will thank everyone and mark this thread as solved, I now have over 27 GB of free space on my C: drive, it must just slowly get down to size where Windows warned me with a red "flag" when viewing This PC.
