Windows 10: My DTS studio sound is gone

Before i update my audio drivers i have this thing called DTS studio sound its pretty coolafter i update my audio drivers its suddenly gone like its gone i tried to search it on windows search bar its doesnt show upSo is there any way to bring it back?

Hi, somehow my DTS studio sound equalizer has stopped working (still have sound from my laptop). I have Windows 10 (Toshiba S55-A5176) and I updated the IDT Driver and uninstalled and reinstalled DTS, and tried Windows 8 compatibility mode, but none of
this worked. I tried downloading a different driver (Conexant) but my computer is not downloading it. I'm confused b/c DTS was working all the time and just suddenly stopped. I have no malware or any problems. Anybody have tips? Thank you!

 

DTS Studio Sound doesn't work on Windows 10

I immediately noticed the same problem upon installing Win10 shortly after it was released, and couldn't find an IDT driver update. The sound just passed through the DTS settings like they weren't there. The "Toshiba Service Station" had a DTS update listed
and recommended uninstalling the old DTS version, but that update somehow vanished after I uninstalled the old version. A few days later it showed up again and I installed it but nothing changed with the sound.

It looks like they delayed releasing the improved IDT driver (v. 6.10.6504.0) which I got tonight after finding this thread and being reminded to try again. For whatever reason, the new driver date shows as 6/4/15 but I've seen that sort of thing with other
drivers.

The DTS EQ and other controls are working again and it definitely improves the sound.

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.
