    MY DVD/CD IS NOT WORKING ON MY PACKARD BELL DESKTOP.


    I CAME TO WANT TO USE MY DVD/CD IN MY PACKARD BELL DESKTOP PURCHASED ON 14/08/2010, AND UPGRADED TO WINDOWS 10 WHEN MICROSOFT ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO. I ALSO DOUBLED THE MEMORY ABOUT THE SAME TIME.I HAD BEEN USING THE DVD/CD PLAYER/RECORDER QUITE A LOT OVER THE YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS, AND WHEN WINDOWS 11 CAME ALONG I UPGRADED TO THAT BUT DIDN'T LIKE IT SO I REVERTED BACK TO WIN.10HAVING NOT USED THE CD RECORDER FOR ABOUT A YEAR I NOW WANTED TO COPY A COUPLE OF CD'S BUT FOUND THAT THE DVD RW DRIVE [E] WAS NOT SHOWING OR RESPONDING TO ANYTHING AT ALL.I WENT TO FILE EXPLORER >PC >AND IT IS

    Packard Bell = NEC IIRC.

    Edit: Apparently it is now owned by the former eMachines owner. But I still don't understand why my parents' Packard Bell PC uses LiteOn CD drives when NEC make their own, they were definitely owned by NEC when the PC was purchased *Confused MY DVD/CD IS NOT WORKING ON MY PACKARD BELL DESKTOP. :confused:
