This is kind of hard to explain. I have two internal hard disk drives, C:\ and E:\. My C: drive is packed to the rafters so I installed a 500 GB backup drive just for some spare space while I clear up my C: drive. File Explorer only detects 127 GB of free space and none of it is used. Disk management says it is formatted with 465 GB of NTFS but right in the list above that menu it states E: only has a capacity of 128 GB and 127.59 of that is free. I attached a screenshot and will explain it down below. The bottom left-hand window was the result of an error scan. the same program reports the dri

How to remove a bad drive in Windows 10 storage spaces pool

Could someone list the steps involved in replacing a bad drive from a Windows 10 storage spaces pool? I cannot find any info on the Microsoft support site that is specific to Windows 10. Also, could you list the steps to remove a 'good' drive and replace
it with another drive if the process is different?

Not sure of purpose for E: drive on recently updated windows 10. Please explain

Recently received a very large update for windows 10 pro. As a result of the update E: drive appeared on drive list, don't recall seeing it before, with a listing for ATAPI iHAS124 F SATA cd rom device (DVD/CD-R), EPSON Storage USB Device (Disk Drives), and TOSHIBA
DT01ACA100 (Disk Drives). As stated I don't recall seeing this before and do not know it's purpose. Also, I am receiving a number of app errors, at least six (6), indicating an app default was reset, on these I assume the program is operating correctly.
