    My earphones don't connect


    Hi,


    I need some help, I got a new phone and a pair of earphones came with it. The phone didn't have a headphone jack so the earphone was USB-C, not AUX. So I bought a USB-C to USB adapter which allowed me to connect my earphones to my laptop and it worked for some time. I have Driver Easy and today I used it to update drivers while I had my earphones connected. Once Driver Easy finished downloading the new drivers, I went to watch Youtube but the audio would cut to speakers and then back to earphones, rapidly. Youtube audio render error appeared and asked to restart my laptop. I did, but now my headphones don't even connect anymore, the Icon appears for a split second then disappears when I re-connected the earphone. I've gone through the playback settings and the headphone appears to be disabled, I re-enable it, but the earphones would switch with the speakers constantly, back and forwards, in small intervals. Can anyone help?

    when I plug my earphones into my laptop to listen to anything I can,t hear anything .I have even used other earphones and the same results nothing .How do I get my earphones working again

    thank you, here are the answers:

    • Have you made any recent changes on the devices?
    No

    • Have you tried other earphones on your Windows?
    No, i just bought it yesterday.

    • Have you tried the earphones on another PC or laptop?
    no, but it works in my smartphone

    • How is the earphones connecting to the machine? Is it via wired connection or through Bluetooth?
    wired.

    • When the earphones are connected, are you still getting audio from the speakers?
    yes, nothing goes through the earphones though.

    My earphones don't connect :(

    Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
    i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?
