Windows 10: MY EMAIL ALL GONE AFTER ARCHIVE USING THE WINDOWS 10 MAIL APP

Hello all,


I require assistance regarding on my email going missing after I have archived it. I will describe my approach and provide the information as close as possible.




Scenario:

First, I have selected all my mails pointed out by red arrow in my inbox, then I proceed to click on the archive icon pointed out by green arrow but nothing happens. So I clicked on the smaller archive icon pointed out by purple arrow and my mails went missing. There is a archive folder from the Folders drop-list, BUT MY MESSAGES ARE NOT THERE. PLEASE HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!

Archived mails are missing in Windows 10 Mail App.

Hi John,

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue.

Follow the Steps below and check.

Step 1: Check the sync settings in Mail app.

• Open Mail app and Hoover mouse point on top.
• Next to Search icon you can seen Sync this View.
• Click on the icon and let it Sync.
• Close and reopen Mail app and check Archived mails.

If issue persist follow next Step.

Step 2: Run the Windows App Troubleshooter.

I suggest you to download and run the app troubleshooter from the below link and check if it helps.

it was win 10 mail app and i archived the emails there as well, the archive folder is now gone, along with all my emails

 

Archive an entire email folder in the Windows 10 mail app

I'm not sure what a pop\imap account is, but my email is provided by yahoo and I use the Windows 10 mail app to reach my email. My issue is that I have many subfolders in my email and some of them are no longer active, but I have to go through the list
anytime I want to reach an active folder. I would like to archive the non-active mail folders so that the list of active folders isn't quite as long.
