Windows 10: My entire photos folder is gone from my computer! Help!

I have no idea what happened but all my photos, including the pictures folder, is completely GONE!!!! I tried looking it up online. Nothing in my recycle. It did not somehow get hidden. And it says there is no backup storage? I have no idea what happened but I did not delete this and it is gone! Like, nowhere to be found and I need to recover these photos! Some of them are irreplaceable! My computer did an automatic upgrade awhile back but-- help! It isn't in my one drive either! What do I do?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to give permission for entire system, so that you can save the files in photos and documents.

• Right click on the folder and click on properties.
• Click on security tab and select the group\user name.
• Click on edit option and check the option full control.
• Click on apply and then on ok button.

Now you can try saving the file in photos and documents and check if the issue persists.

SlideShow in Photos app does not display more that 30 photos

I suggest you to remove and re-add the photos folder from Photo app. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Open Photos App.
  
• 
  Click on Settings.
  
• 
  Under Sources click on the X mark next to the folder location listed to delete the location from Photos App.
  
• 
  Once done try to re-add the folder by clicking on Add a Folder.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if issue persists.

How do I move photos from the my photo app to the pictures folder on the C drive?

  Select the photo and right click on the photo.
  
• 
  Select Open Folder.

  From there you will be able to copy all the photos to C: drive
