Windows 10: My Ethernet NETWORK drive is no longer visible under File Explorer/Network

Since installing W11 update KB5030310 I no longer have visibility of my network storage device that was under File Explorer/Network/????. I uninstalled the update and rebooted. Did not fix. I do however see the storage device under 'This PC' but I am not allowed to delete any files. I can read the files but not able to delete.

Network Drive not visible

I no longer can access my network external drive after the 1803 update. It is not visible as a storage device on visible as a media device. How do I access this drive on my network?

in 2017/2018 i could see all my network drives in file explorer and so read and write to them, but then i could not see them but last year i started to see all my network drives again after an update but in the last week or 2 i can no longer see my network
drives, again after another new update?

can anyone tell me how to see my network drives in file explorer and keep them there!

 

I can't see a networked drive in file explorer in Windows 10 (one that I could see with Windows 7)

I have an Iomega network drive - used for a long time as a backup - drive that is wired by ethernet to my Negear R6220 router.

It is sometimes visible in Windows 10 file explorer - it must have been because at one point I was able to set up File History to use it - but it is no longer.

I checked and the system says I'm fully updated on Windows 10.

Most of the advice in the community is about mapping network drives, but all of the advice presumes that you can see the network drive, which I cannot. The drive is listed by the router as attached.
