Windows 10: My Ethernet port doesn't work and it comes up with error 48 in device manager

Discus and support My Ethernet port doesn't work and it comes up with error 48 in device manager in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; [ATTACH] i recently installed Linux subsystem for windows and it seemingly broke my Ethernet?     i recently installed Linux subsystem for windows and it seemingly broke my Ethernet? Anyone have a clue as to what could be going on?

    New build, all works but ethernet

    Anyway everything works fine except for the ethernet port. Under device manager it is listed as "Ethernet Controller", under the category of "unknown devices" (along with several other unknown devices).

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    Go to the asus web site and look up your motherboard model. Then go to drivers and download your ethernet driver
