My excel not sync, One drive taken over photos, word documents Excel plus more! PC not working properly as I desire. Microsoft ignoring my calls!

Word and Excel documents are slow to open in Windows 10

Have the same problem, here are my conditions:

- Windows 10 Professional x64.

- Office 2007 Ultimate.

- Opening Word and Excel documents is slow when Word/Excel not currently open/running.

- Opening the Word/Excel document with Word/Excel already open is fast/normal.

Solution is the same as reported:

1) Disable Cortana.

2) Restart Windows.

Step 2 is very important.

in my case, I don't need to restart windows. Closing cortana completely will make opening word and excel files fast like usual.

 

Simple syncing for Word and Excel documents

I have a Windows Mobile 6.5 and use it a lot thru activesync to edit word and excel documents on phone and laptop. It is simple to do that. My daughter is going to be needing a smartphone and I have suggested Windows Mobile 7. She will need it to work
on word documents (add ideas, etc) while on the subway and then have those documents synced with her laptop at home (no work server or work network is involved in what she does). How does Windows Phone 7 do this easily for the "home" user and keep it simple
like it is with Win 6.5 activesync. Is Windows Phone 7 a good choice for her - the purpose for getting the Microsoft phone would be to be able sync office documents whereas the Android or I-Phone (which most of her friends have) does not have Office? (I've
spent several hours trying to find this info - Microsoft is not making it very clear - especially when the use is not a business setup. My last resort is finding out here.)
