Windows 10: my external hard drive changed its name and i cant open my games

Discus and support my external hard drive changed its name and i cant open my games in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; ok so i have an external hard drive and everything was working perfectly until now. it used to be called "USB drive D:" but recently it just changed...     my external hard drive changed its name and i cant open my games


    ok so i have an external hard drive and everything was working perfectly until now. it used to be called "USB drive D:" but recently it just changed its name to "HD2 E:". i have the sims4 on the hard drive and when i try to open up the game, it says to insert a disk into the hard drive. its like i switched out my hard drive for another one, but i didnt?
