Windows 10: My external HDD stopped working (DTMB BDA TV USB)

​Hello,
1 month ago I bought an MSI laptop with Windows 10 Home installed on it and I already had a 1TB Twinmos external hard drive that worked perfectly fine on it and suddenly one day the HDD stopped appearing in "Computer" but it shows in the Devices and Printers section as an unspecified device.When I try troubleshooting it, the troubleshooter says that a driver "the DTMB BDA TV USB driver" needs to be reinstalled I continue with this reinstallation but still doesn't work
P.S.:Windows has updated several times since I bought the laptop
PLEASE HELP *Sad

why is it listed under sound video and game controllers ? I can't understand

External HDD appears as Unspecified in Windows 10

Hello there, about a month and a half ago I bought an MSI GP72 running on Windows 10 Home

and my external Twinmos hard drive worked perfectly fine at first

then after several windows updates the external HDD stopped working it appears as an unspecified device in "Devices & Printers"

when I go to Device Manager the yellow exclamation mark appears on the DTMB BDA TV USB under "Sound,video and game controllers"

I tried using the automatic trouble shooting it says that the "DTMB BDA TV USB requires reinstallation and I should restart Windows"

after trying this fix nothing happened.

The drive works on other computers and I tried other usb ports and cables on my computer but nothing happened

when I try to update the DTMB BDA TV USB driver it says that it's already up to date.

Please help me with this frustrating problem.

I also found this error with a yellow triangle and exclamation mark in it.

I ran the auto fix as suggested, but still it doesn't read the HDD

 

Right click and "uninstall". Check the option to remove the driver.
Turn off the device and back on. It should now be recognised as the USB mass storage.
