Windows 10: my F5 and F6 aren't working

Discus and support my F5 and F6 aren't working in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; i have a laptop where the F6mute button and F5 arent working. i tried it on a keyboard testing website and they seems to be not working at all. this...     my F5 and F6 aren't working


    i have a laptop where the F6mute button and F5 arent working. i tried it on a keyboard testing website and they seems to be not working at all. this happened after multiple windows updates on my laptop. and i didnt nor anyone did use my laptop at the time this happened

    Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly

    The native apps from the system are all showing this strange square instead of the normal icons. Please help resolve this problem. Thanks

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query at Microsoft community.

    Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

    Follow this steps:


      • Press Windows+X.

      • Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

      • Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
        DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
        Enter.

    my F5 and F6 aren't working

    Fn+F5 combination suddenly stopped working.

    I have a Fujitsu Lifebook A555 with Windows 10 latest version installed in it. The combination Fn+F5 used to turn on/off Airplane mode on my laptop.

    Today, suddenly it stopped working. I tried checking for driver updates but found none. Also, no Windows updates were found. Other combinations such as Fn+F6 or individually F5 key is working but not Fn+F5.

    Please help me figure this out as it is causing inconvenience for me.
