Windows 10: My family font ms gothic is old version

Good afternoon!I have problem with fonts in windows. My computer upgrade from windows 10 pro 20H2 to 21H1 but the version of "MS gothic" font is version 2.0 not same as other window 10 with version "5.32".My question is: How to update ms gothic font to version 5.32.I tried to get this font from other windows to install but it not worked no message occur.Thanks.

I quickly learned that Century Gothic belongs to Monotype. You can license it from

Hello,

I've been researching for about an hour about this without any luck.

I have Windows 10 and Century Gothic font came with it.

What I'd like to know is pretty simple- can I use this font for commercial purposes, to create a design for a book cover for a client?

The font would be used for the title and author name and the cover will most likely be published through CreateSpace.

MS Gothic does not even display properly ("¥" replaces "\" etc.), or bold as selected:




Frankly, I see no problem with Consolas at default 16 point when the background and text colours are reversed to black on white

The old MSDOS type raster fonts change with every dimension change (10 sizes available): I like the familiar old "system" font at 8 x 12 pixels.

Remember, the console can only use monotype fonts where each character is an equal width to any other, so they may look like any old variety of typewriter font, and you won't get fonts like the Arial family.
