Windows 10: My family organizer is not available

I wanted to buy a minecraft realm but it said that i need a parent to do so. I checked my microsoft family to see who the family organizer is, and it was me but with another email. i tried to log back into the old email to remove it but it said that the email doesn't exist. there's nothing for me to do since the email is not accessible and i cant do anything as a member. is there anyway to switch the family organizer to my current email without having access to my old email?

Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Unable to remove another Family Organizer

Hi Gerald, I am , a fellow Microsoft user like you.

You cannot remove the organizer as a member. You can try to have a proper conversation with the organizer and ask to adjust the family group settings. Alternatively, you can leave the family group yourself. To leave the family group, follow these steps outlined here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

Keep in mind that if you are using a child account, you cannot leave the family group by yourself. You need to ask the adult who granted consent to remove your account from the family group.

 

Microsoft Family - how to change from member to organizer

Agree, As the Organizer, I should be able to control my family settings. If I want to upgrade an older child or wife to organizer, It should be easier than the steps above. Uninviting and resubmitting the invite again is not efficient at all.
