Windows 10: My file explorer keeps asking me to sign in to wrong account.

When I click on it it points me to sign in screen from an old client's orgnisation that I had an email account. When I try to sign in with a different account I click on my current email and it loops back to the old client's sign in page. This organisation is deleted from my list of organisations so I don't know what to do. Please help as am caught in this ongoing loop.

Why is File Explorer asking me to sign in?

When I open File Explorer it asks me to sign in on the top right of the window. When I try to sign in with my Microsoft account it says My account is a personal Microsoft Account and that this application does not support personal Microsoft accounts. I tried to log in with the account that is my administrative account on my computer. I don't understand what other account it could possibly want? Does anyone know what I need to do to make it so File Explorer stops asking me to sign in?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Navigate to Start>Settings>Accounts.
• In the left pane, click on sign-in options.
• In the right pane select Never from the drop down list for the option
  Require sign-in.

Wrong microsoft account on sign in

Hi Ken,

To help fix the issue regarding with computer login, we suggest that you try the following:

• Press Windows + S.
• Type User Accounts and hit Enter.
• Click on the User account of your wife.
• In the prompt you can either click on keep files (which will keep a back up of all your files) or
  delete files (which will delete all the files associated with this account).
• Click on Delete Account.
