My personal documents and downloads are not showing in FILE EXPLORER.

I did this before I posted my question. The problem is. When I first go to "file explorer" and click on "document" the containing folders are not showing. I would be very upset if I searched and did not find the file locations. How do I make the folders
show up when I click on "documents" where the search said they are? The search shows the path which assures me the files ARE on the computer but clicking on "Documents" the folders and files dont show.

If your files or folders disappeared, it might appear missing but it is actually hidden. For us to isolate this issue, kindly follow these methods:

Method 1: Check the users folder.

• Click on Start, and then type This PC.
• Select This PC from the list of results.
• At the top, look for the box that has the word This PC. Click on it and type these:
  
  • > Local Disk (C) > Users > User Name > Documents or This PC > Local Disk (C) > Users > Public.
• Press Enter, and then check if the files are there.

Method 2: Show hidden files and folders.

• Click on Start.
  
• Type File Explorer.
• Select File Explorer Options from the list of results.
• Click on View tab.
• Under Hidden files and folders option, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
• Click on Apply, and then OK
  to save changes.
• Open the File Explorer and check if you'll see the file.
