Windows 10: My File Explorer wont stop crashing

Suddenly my computer has been doing this thing where explorer won't stop crashing, It doesn't seem to have any causes as it happens at random. I have noticed that when it happens my GPU will max out and then my CPU will max out. I have confirmed that it is file explorer through things like event viewer and reliability monitor for example it happened 108 times within a day. When it crashes, it makes my screen go black for a second not the entire screen just everything except the windows that are open and then goes back to normal after the taskbar reloads. I have tried many things including

You can try the following steps:

1. Tap down the Windows button first to activate the search bar.
2. After that, in the search bar type control, and then click on the top-most search result, that is on Control Panel.
3. Next, in the search bar type file.
4. Now, from the search results click on File Explorer Options.
5. Then, click on the Clean button.
6. Lastly, click on Apply and then on OK.

I did the steps you wrote. All the settings were as you suggested. The File Explorer keeps crashing.

thats wierd... iv never had a large file crash explorer before....


and i have files ranging upto 80GB...
