Windows 10: My files app is all white around the border,

My files app is all white around the border, how do i fix this. in the screenshot it shows when i tried saving a file but it also does that when i open the app normall

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this procedure but it has had no effect at all so the problem persists.

Since asking the original question I have downloaded some albums from amazon and added these to the Music folder and the white border has appeared on those albums as well so it would appear it is only artwork added by WMP which is not affected.

 

White border

My photo has a narrow white border around 3 sides and then a wide white one
(about one inch) the fourth side. How do I remove the borders? I don't want the borders to show when I print them.

Thank you for replying back.



We have reproduced the issue from our end and we found that it is by design that the border of the window, when accessed in taskbar is black with white border. However the thickness of the border varies.



I suggest you to run SFC Scan by following the steps from the link below and check if the issue is resolved.



SFC scan is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.
If a Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected. For example, some Windows functions may not work, or Windows may crash.
