Windows 10: My files are missing because of a Repairing and Scanning C: Drive when I opened my laptop

I have asked a lot of questions here before, and this question is pretty important. I've told in other questions I made that everytime I opened my laptop theres a "REPAIRING AND SCANNING C: DRIVE". My laptop opened eventually and found out that almost all of my files from a backup folder (because my laptop got reformatted) and my Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Photoshop are now gone. My Microsoft Photos isn't working either but i'm downloading the update because i'm running on an old build and version. Is there any way I can recover those files?

Scanning and repairing drive (C Windows 10

Windows 10 may have encountered a system file corruption after it was turned off while it was scanning and repairing drive (C. For us to help you access your computer and end the scanning and repairing loop, we suggest that you perform a startup repair.
Kindly follow the steps below:

• Start your computer from the installation media, Insert the DVD or USB flash drive and restart your computer. Press a key once you see a message that says
  Press any key to boot from DVD.
• On Install the Windows screen, select Repair your computer to the
  Windows Recovery Environment.
• On the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot.
• Select Advanced options. Under Advanced options, select
  Startup Repair.
• Startup Repair will now start Diagnosing your PC, and will perform an automatic repair.
  

Meanwhile, if you don't have a disk or USB, download the ISO from a different computer and try creating a bootable disk or USB. Kindly refer to this

link and follow the second option that says Using the tool to create installation media to install Windows 10 on a
different PC.

Scanning and repairing drive (C Windows 10

Acer laptop running Win 7 and upgraded to Win 10 over a year ago. On 17 September I started computer and was presented with "Scanning and repairing drive (C". I turned off the laptop and then tried to access the USB (not recognized) and safe mode without
success. I left the computer on to finish the process and yesterday it was at 12% complete then restarted. Suggestions?

 

Scanning And Repairing C Drive Over and Over


My ASUS laptop running Windows 10 crashed and I had to turn it off by holding the power button. When I turned the laptop back on it had a message that it was scanning and repairing the C drive. After a few hours the instead of then starting up normally, a blue screen appears with several options. One is to continue to Windows. If I choose that option, the computer starts scanning and repairing the C drive all over again and then I get back to the blue option screen. Another option is to turn the computer off. I did that and then waited a minute before turning the computer back on. Same loop of scanning and repairing C drive and then blue option screen. There is a trouble shooting option which also lead me back through the same loop. One option was to delete my apps but nothing else. That did not work. One option was safe mode, but that also just led to the same loop ending in blue options screen. I have not tried the complete reformatting option yet because there is still stuff on my hard drive that I want. My buddy suggested I take out the hard drive, get my stuff off, then reformat whole computer. I am going to try that next. Does anyone know any other possible solutions?
