Windows 10: My focus assist keeps turning on for no reason.

I recently got a new laptop and the focus assist likes to turn on for no apparent reason. The computer would be idle and then I go back to it and it's on. Is there any way I can figure out what's triggering it?

If you turn off Get notifications from apps and other senders, it will disable notifications from everything except Windows system notifications.

Turning on Focus Assist will turn off all notifications until you turn off Focus Assist.

Turn off Focus Assist

In addition to turning off Focus Assist, you also have to turn off all of its automatic rules or they will automatically turn on Focus Assist as per rule conditions.
