Windows 10: my freind recently gave me his old stuff and i found win 7 home premium laptop but i cant...

reinstall win 10 in an old laptop from Win7 home premium

I have an old laptop, initially bought with win 7 home premium.

I updated to Win 10 and run for a long time.

I had a somehow a malfunction on the SSD that made the win10 to crash.

I didn't have a restore point or a backup made.

Please help reinstall the windows.

Win 7 and Win 10 on network

I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

Any suggestions for a fix?

 

Recovery win 7 home premium

I downloaded the win 10 upgrade 7/30/2015. It appears that some of my apps don't work and some of my devices don't work. I'd like to go back to win 7 home premium but when I try the recovery steps it comes back that the files have been deleted. I found
a file folder on my root directory labeled "windows.old" and I assume this is where win 7 is stored. How can I make the recovery see this file folder if it is windows 7?
