Windows 10: My friend gave me his gaming pc Resetting everything but turned it off, now when I turn it...

This is what keeps repeating when I turn on the pc, it does it like 7-8 times then the pc turns off, any ideas on how to fix this

Pc turns on, but will not display anything

So as the title says my pc will now turn on, but it will not display anything on the monitors. i have tried one and both monitors.

list of what i have tried

putting my video card into my dads computer.
resetting cmos by taking bat out for 10-15min


thats all i have tried but it worked before i had turned it off from it being plugged into my tv.

I don't know what to do again, Arg i am starting to hate pc's i want a mac so bad now.......

PC wont turn on

Hi

My Dad gave me his old pre-built PC to fix. It turns on for a second, no signal to monitor, then turns off. No beeps coming from the motherboard. I've tried it without RAM and HDD unattached, same problem.

What I need to know is if it's the Motherboard or CPU that's dead. I have no LGA775 system to test components out.

are sure it turn on? not shut down by it self
if you dont move anything
i suggest try to put the board off from the case and re test again
