Windows 10: My friends computer wont boot, repair, or reset. Am i able to take the drive he has windows...

My friend's pc was working fine, but then it started crashing. He could boot to windows and his home screen before it would crash. Eventually, he couldn't even boot to windows anymore. We tried all troubleshooting problems. We tried resetting from the troubleshooting and it was unable, it was also unable to repair. We tried the windows media installation key method. Switched his boot drive to the drive with the media key on it. It would load to the purple screen and then after going through the steps it was copying/installing files, but it would crash right after. We are all out of ideas and I

Computer wont boot or reset or run system repair

My computer wont load into normal windows 10 and wont reset or run system repair. I can only boot into safe mode but i cant create a recovery drive in safe mode. I did a system restore but it did nothing. System image recovery dosent seem to work either.
I thought it was a driver issue but it wont show drivers at all. Any help. Thanks

I suggest you to do a startup repair using the Windows 10 installation media and check if it helps.

Use installation or recovery media to get to startup settings:

  Insert the USB drive or DVD and restart your PC. If you’re using recovery media, skip the next step.

I suggest you check if you are able to boot into Windows Recovery Environment using installation media. Follow the steps provided below and check.

• • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

Check if you are able to boot to this window. If you are unable to boot to this window, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and check.
