Windows 10: My friends Windows 10 PC keeps freezing all of a sudden. Resulting in forcing a restart of...

Hi Guys,

My friends Windows 10 PC keeps freezing. This happens most of the time while playing a game (League of Legends) but it also happens while browsing the Internet. To unfreeze, he uses the reset button on the PC case or he has to wait for about one minute.

The first time this happened he got the following message from WIN10 after restarting via the reset button:
"Keep the USB drive plugged in"
"Only remove it after your PC has shut down completely. Otherwise, your Windows To Go workspace might crash and you could lose data."

After this message I started to Google and found that we could disable this message following this guide. This did solve getting the message, but the PC still freezes occasionally...

His PC isn't actually used as a 'To Go' PC, but Windows 10 is installed via WinToUSB. This is done on purpose because we couldn't get Windows 10 installed on his new 256GB SSD.
We first tried installing Windows 10 the 'normal way' (with a USB created via the MediaCreationTool), but this didn't work, because we got the following message:
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

We tried an entire weekend to get Windows 10 installed on his SSD and using the WinToUSB tool seemed to be the best solution. This worked very well for over one and a half month, but now the PC keeps freezing occasionally.

I would appreciate any suggestion/solutions.

Windows10 keep freezing / Need to force shutdown to restart

Hi,

We supply New hardware and installed with Windows 10. It keep freezing around 2 or 3 days once. I have updated all the Windows Update but still freeze today. Any suggestion?
