    im using intel i5 12thgen processor and i have 5000 gb ssd and 8gb ram while my other friend use same configuration but he uses a intel i3 6th gen and using windows 10 and im using window 11 pro. we both plays a game called genshin impact and i can run it smoothly on my pc but whenever i try to enable anti-aliasing to FRS2 or SMAA my game just freeze i can stiil hear the sound and the other activities that is going on to that game but i cant see it the monitor just freeze but on the other hand my friend can enable it and run it smoothly . please note that my pc is fully upgraded i mean every t

    Turn off anti-aliasing in Windows 11

    Anti-aliasing options are controlled based on your graphics card, only Cleartype in Windows is available.

    The article you found has already changed the way windows shown, if the Anti-aliasing cannot be disabled, there are other reasons that you need to figure out. Such as the display and you graphic card driver version.

    No option to disable anti-aliasing in control panel.

    My video needs to be set to balanced, or else it has stuttering issues. So I can only change it on a single program basis. By default, anti-aliasing is on. The game getting a problem from this is Halo, but I can't change anti-aliasing to off in the control panel. There is simply no "off" option for anti-aliasing mode. There is only Use Global Setting, Application-controlled (still causes crash), and Enhance the Application Setting. There's no off, and that's the only setting it will accept.

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Windows 10 does not have an option to turn off Anti-Aliasing, that is usually done in the Control Panel for your video card, the only setting in Windows is the Clear Type setting.

    Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

    Expand the Display Adapters section, what device(s) do you see listed there?
