Windows 10: My game wont run, even though ive been able to run it before, it stems from a ucrtbase.dll...

So, not too long ago I bought Baldurs gate 3, and for awhile I was able to play it without any issues, then I uninstalled it because I had gotten to a point in which i didn't really want to play it anymore. Recently I reinstalled Baldurs gate 3 and since then I've been getting an error when i try to start it up. The Event viewer info is listed below. I've already tried reinstalling the game, doing a system check, repairing the visual C++ programs and its still giving me the same error.Faulting application name: bg3.exe, version: 4.1.215.4614, time stamp:

- When you say 'ive tried troubleshooting', what are you referring to?

- Did you check in compatibility mode?

I suggest to run the game in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the ‘Setup’ icon for the game and click on properties.
  
• 
  Under Compatibility tab, check the option for ‘Run in Compatibility mode’.
  
• 
  Select Windows 8.1 from the drop down list.
  
• 
  Click on Apply and then OK.

games wont run because MSVCP100.dll is missing

Some of my games (Rome 2, Stardew Valley, Mass Effect, Brutal Legend, and more) wont run because i get a error message saying MSVCP100.dll is missing, i was told to get Microsoft visual c+++ 2010 but when i try that i get a error message saying i cant
because a newer version is on my laptop. please help

Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: Unregister and re-register the msvcp110.dll and then check if you come across the issue.

Step 1: Steps to un-register
msvcp110.dll

• Press Windows + R from the keyboard to open
  Run command.
• Type regsvr32 /u msvcp110.dll
• Click on OK.
• Close the Run command window

Step 2:
Steps to re-register msvcp110.dll

• Press Windows + R from the keyboard to open
  Run command.
• Type regsvr32 /i msvcp110.dll
• Click on OK.
• Close the Run command window and check if the issue persists.

Method 2: Check if you have not deleted the msvcp110.dll file by mistake on your device.

Check for the file in Recycle bin. If found restore back.

Method 3: I suggest you to run the Microsoft Safety Scanner
and check.
