Windows 10: My games are running in smaller resolution than I have set.

In desktop its all okay,butt when I go in the game this problem is in all of my games it looks like a lot smaller resolution.Basically when I have 1920x1080 it looks like smaller resolution, when I have 2650x1440 it looks little bit worse than 1920x1080, and 4k looks like 1920x1080.My pc: Lenovo Legion 5 prospecs:Legion 5 Pro AMD Gaming Laptop Lenovo PhilippinesI just want to say that I know that 1920x1080 looks bad on QHD monitor. But this happens to me on my 1920x1080 monitor and I tried multiple monitors but still the same problem. It looks the worse in far its not that bad on close .

Screen smaller and resolution

As you are facing issues with the screen resolution, I would suggest you to change the display settings.

Method 1: Change screen resolution

1. Open Start, select Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings.
   
2. Under Resolution, select a new value. We suggest you stick with the resolution marked “(Recommended) ”
   

Method 2: Update Display drivers

Please answer these questions to assist you better.

• Which version of GTA are you using?
• Is the issue specific to GTA game?
• When you say 'cannot run on 600*400*32' are you referring to screen resolution?

If yes I suggest you to follow the steps below and check.

• Type Change the Screen resolution on Search
  and hit Enter.
• Under Resolution change to Recommended settings.

My resolution is now large,no way to make smaller through settings

• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the screen resolution issue?
• Can you please tell us the exact model name of your computer?You can find out the model of your computer by following these instructions:
  • Right-click the Windows logo (Start button).
  • Click Run.
  • In the Run textbox, type msinfo32.
  • On the left pane of the System Information window, look for
    System model to see the exact model of your device.
• What is the OS Build of your Windows 10? To determine the build of your Windows 10, follow these steps:
  • Click the Windows logo (Start button).
  • Click the gear icon (Settings).
  • Select System.
  • On the left pane, choose About.
• Are you using a laptop or a desktop? If you're using a desktop, does the issue still occur when you detach and re-attach the monitor?
