Windows 10: My games won't save!

I've been running into a recent issue where some of my games won't create a save data folder. The games in question come from different gaming platforms too. Ubisoft Connect = Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and Assassin's Creed ValhallaSteam = Medieval Dynasty, Gas Station simulator, Fallout 4 not entirely because I use mods so it's technically saved differently, Dragon Age Origins, Stardew Valley Again, I use mods so it's differentHowever, these are not all of the games I have downloaded from steam. when I download a game from the Microsoft store it won`t play

the splash screen appears then goes

I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.

If you're playing the game online while you're signed in with your Microsoft account, the game progress should automatically save to the cloud. Otherwise, there may be an interruption with the game server or an incorrect account configuration preventing
the game progress from syncing. To gain more clarity of your concern, kindly answer the following questions:

• Are you trying to play the game online or offline?
• Is your device connected to a wired or a wireless network?
• Were you able to save your game progress before?
• Are you using the same Microsoft account to sign in to the Xbox app and the game?
• Have you tried playing other games to check if you can save the progress?
