Windows 10: My gaming laptop dropped the performance it once had.

So my gaming laptop suddenly dropped the frames I usually get 150+ frames when gaming but it suddenly dropped to -60 I don't think I have any viruses or any apps that consume that much processing power, I think that the laptop is intentionally not out putting that much power as before, I also keep my laptop plugged in to make sure it's providing the fastest possible experience, any fix for this? I'm also using an Acer Nitro AN515-57

Thank you for providing us the troubleshooting steps that you have performed.

I suggest to run the game in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the ‘Setup’ icon for the game and click on properties.
  
• 
  Under Compatibility tab, check the option for ‘Run in Compatibility mode’.
  
• 
  Select Windows 8.1 from the drop down list.
  
• 
  Click on Apply and then OK.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
