Windows 10: My Gateway tower 504gr keeps ignoring the operating systems on the harddrive and goes into...

Hey everyone,I'm currently facing a annoying issue with my Gateway 504GR desktop computer, and I'm hoping someone here might be able to assist me. The problem is that my computer keeps getting stuck in recovery mode, completely ignoring the hard drives installed, one has ubuntu, and another has windows XP media center. Strangely enough, it works perfectly fine when I boot it from a USB drive. I'm at a loss as to why this is happening, and I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this situation, i've tried messing around with bios for a bit but nothing works, and

HARDDRIVE ISSUES

I have a reflerblished dell optiplex 790 mini tower i bought december 2016 - window 7 pro 64bit. i have a hardrive from my old system xp. can i install the old hardrive in this machine - with the xp version, until i get a new harddrive to replace the windows
10? in the end in want to keep BOTH HARDDRIVES, with SEPARATE operating systems. Can it be done?

Best gaming harddrive Sugestion ???

Seagate states on their 750gb,32mb cache harddrive that the best application is video surveillance.(liquor stores,how very sad and completly overpriced for the amount of problems they have).Yet Passmark lists this near the top of their harddrive page.Any one have a suggestion for something that will last.(maybe samsung???)
Also I was considering a Raidmax hybrid 2 sli 630w powersupply.Any thoughts on Raidmax??

 

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
