Windows 10: My google and facebook websites stop working on laptop sometimes for 2-3 days

Hi All,

I am using windows 10 Home.

My main issue is when I make a hotspot from my mobile and browse the internet on laptop, sometimes my google websites youtube, google.com, meet, etc all google websites and Facebook these two I tested so far do not work. Other websites like kavitalay.in, my company's website is working fine.

If check the same into my mobile, everything works well whether Google, Facebook, or something else. It is just in my laptop these do not work.


Can anyone tell what issue is this?

While I am posting this question, the website is working for me but the same google and facebook are not working and I am connected to my mobile hotspot and in my mobile google and facebook and all others are working fine.

There are a lot of possible reasons for this matter to occur. One possible cause is your
drivers
might be
outdated
or the issue is within the
device/hardware
itself. However, we need to make sure that it is the case. To isolate the issue, we have
some questions for you:

• 
  Were there any changes made before the issue occurred?
  
• 
  Have you tried downloading and installing the latest driver update available in your computer/laptop manufacturer's
  website?
  
• 
  Have you tried using the device to another computer?
  
• 
  What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  

We suggest that you perform these
methods of troubleshooting
and check if there are any changes:

Method 1: Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

To run the Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

• 
  On the search bar, type
  Troubleshooting
  and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  Choose
  Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on
  Hardware and Devices
  to run the
  Troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: Update your drivers.

Method 3:
Run SFC Scan.  

SFC
will
scan
and
run
an
automatic repair
to any
corrupted system files
that it will detect. We suggest that you perform it twice. To run an
SFC scan, follow these steps:  

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.  
  
• 
  Type
  sfc /scannow
  and hit
  Enter.   
  

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
Device Vendor manufacturer
for further assistance.

Facebook website freezes while opening in Internet Explorer. How to refresh the current webpage?

The issue could occur if facebook website has compatibility issues.

To assist you better, please provide us the below information:

• Is this issue specific to facebook website? Are you facing any issues while accessing facebook website through another website?
• Are you getting any error message?

I suggest you to hit on F5 key which is listed in function keys, it will refresh the current webpage.

Refer to the below steps and check if it helps.



Step 1: I also recommend you run Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter and check if it helps.

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes in the search bar and click on
Troubleshooting.

3. Then click on View All on the left panel of the screen.

4. Click on Internet Explorer Performance.

5. Click on Next and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: I suggest you to add the facebook website in compatibility view mode and check if it helps.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Then click on Gear symbol or Settings.

3.Click on Compatibility View settings, type "facebook.com" without the quotes in the box and click on
Add.

4. Click on Close button. Then close Internet Explorer and open again.

Core 2 Duo for laptop CQ40-314TU

I have found something about CPU Upgrade on the Intel's Website, the manufacturer of my laptop's chipset (GM45 Chipset). Currently, the CPU which this laptop is using (Dual Core T3400) is NOT in this list: http://ark.intel.com/chipset.aspx?familyID=35509
The laptop's chipset also support Core 2 Extreme Technology, which I think the latest CPU Technology.
I have another laptop called Acer Aspire 5572ANWXMi that is using the chipset 945GM which support the T7600 (like you suggested) and it is in this list: http://ark.intel.com/chipset.aspx?familyID=22816
