Windows 10: My graphing mode sometimes is greyed out and I have to close it and open it again, why is this?

I have windows 10 latest version, and when I open the calculator the graphing mode is someties greyed out/unavailable, I tried enabling it with the "Local Group Policy Editor" and restarted my pc, But I still have to re open it and close sometimes for it to be available.

Grey stripes issue

I had the same issue and the following method was the only cure so far:

 

No Graph Called ResidentSet

Following the steps in the answer from here: Windows 10 Memory Leak

When it says "Open the MemUsage.etl with Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA.exe), drag and drop the graph ResidentSet from the left graph list to the analysis pane", there is such graph called ResidentSet.

Any idea why?

 

Tablet Mode toggle greyed out - NOT connected to a different monitor

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

I suggest you to sign-out from the current user account, restart the computer, sign-in and check if it helps.

Follow the below to enable Tablet mode on Windows 10:

• Press Windows+ I keys, click on System icon.
• Click on Tablet Mode on the left side, and select Use tablet mode,
  Use desktop mode, or Use the appropriate mode for my hardware under
  When I sign in on the right side for what you want.
• When finished, you can close Settings if you like.

Also, I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
