Windows 10: my hard disk isnt shut down correctly

The hard disk isnt closing correctly when turning off my pc a beep sound is heared but it beeps only once and turns off the pc

Low transfer rate confimed - a. see what HDS says b. search forum as I suggested.

Meanwhile block Windows Update so your PC is usable.

There's little point in trying to fix WU without decent disk performance.

External Hard disk contents are not visible.
