Windows 10: My hard drive is filling up with unknown files. I cannot see them.

Back in May, I received a message that my hard drive was running low on space. I deleted over 50GB of photos from the C drive. All better? Nope, two weeks later, it is full again. I delete 25 GB more from C. Two weeks later I'm below 20GB free. This has happened 5 more times and the hard drive is now full and I cannot use my computer at all. I am out of stuff to delete. Everything on C needs to be there. I paid Norton to find problems and they updated several drivers. Please do not tell me to run disk cleanup, I've done it weekly for two months, sometimes I get back 2 whole GB. I take photos

Hard drive filled with invisible files.

My C:\ drive, which holds the Windows 10 OS, programs data/files and a little bit of user data, shows that I have used roughly 600gb of space (first image below) on a 1TB SSD. When I use WinDirStat to see what's on that drive, it shows that I have about 120gb of data on it (second image). Could someone kindly suggest what could be taking up 480gb of space—and why it is invisible to WinDirStat. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use Windows search. Just search for *.* on a desired drive. When list is done just arrange them by size LOL.

You can do it via command line as well and make an output text file showing files and their sizes (but without arrangement)

I'd like to know if there's a way of listing all the files stored in my hardware and arrange them by size, because I want to keep track of what's on my hard drive. Thanks, I hope you answer.
