Windows 10: My HDD has stopped appearing and shows offline as my computer boots

Since I am poor and cannot afford a subscription I need to come to this forum. No microsoft forum or recommended link has even come close to resolving the issue. I just need to speak with someone who works at microsoft to ask questions. But guess I dont have enough money for that feature.

It is possible that your
HDD was unreadable
causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:

• 
  Shutdown
  your
  PC.
  
• 
  Unhooked
  the
  HDD
  and
  turn on
  your
  PC.
  
• 
  Reconnect
  your
  HDD
  and
  restart
  your
  PC.
  

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
laptop/computer's manufacturer
for further assistance.
