    My headphones are making me poor


    Whenever I connect my bluethooth headphones to my pc, they're first low in voice, like 10%. But when I put the volume higher it jumps instantly very high like 70%.. I'm sure this is from the computer settings and not the headphones, can I fix this somehow? I know these huge volume changes are dangerous for hearing and I always forget this before it's too late..

    I know, this isn't very bad problem, but this annoys me so much My headphones are making me poor :(

    i would also recommend looking at the Audio Technica m50s if this is your first step into audiophile headphones.

    most of the cans you listed will also need an amp to push them.

    Thank you for keeping us updated.

    This issue might resolve making the headphones as default device in Playback devices.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if the issue persists.

    • Right click on the Speaker icon (Volume icon). Select
      Playback devices.
    • Select Headphones and click Set default.
    • Click apply and check if the issue resolves.

    Poor audio quality from Bluetooth headphones

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    1. Since when are you facing this issue?
    2. Are you aware of any changes being made on the PC?
    3. What is the make and model of the PC?


    I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



    Method 1:



    Run the troubleshooter for Bluetooth.



    1. Go to Settings > Updates & Security > Troubleshoot.
    2. Under Find and fix other problems click on
      Bluetooth.
    3. Follow the instructions on the troubleshooter.


    Method 2:



    Try updating the Bluetooth drivers. Refer the article to

    update drivers in Windows 10    .



    Also, you can refer the article by Bose on
    poor sound quality from a Bluetooth device     and

    optimizing audio    .
