Windows 10: My headphones are only showing up as hands free AG audio, this previously was not the case

hello! I have had a pair of JBL-tunes 500BT headphones for about a year now, and they've been working great up until recently. In the past, they have always had 2 devices shown when connected to them with Bluetooth on my laptop, a stereo one, and a hands free AG audio one, which sounds terrible and is mono. after a restart of my computer these headphones have only shown up as being the hands free AG audio one, which is terrible, and in settings the say "Connected Voice" underneath them, not the usual "Connected voice and audio" (or at least something like that). I've scoured the internet for a solution and I just can't find one, I've tried restarting my laptop, running "sfc /scannow" in command prompt, and nothing seems to work. On my iPhone they are sounding fine, so I don't think the headphones themselves are broken.

Cant connect headphones hand free ag audio

I am not able to connect to my headphones hands free ag audio

when i go to sounds in control panel the stereo is connected but hands free ag audio is disconnected but if i right click on it and click connect it doesnt connect it doesnt even show any error

Please solve my problem

 

Hands Free AG Audio is not working

My Bluetooth headphone set has Hands Free AG audio and stereo audio. My stereo audio working but my AG audio is not. how do I fix it? I can't hear anything when I switch on Hands Free AG Audio

 

Cant connect headphones hand free ag audio

Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth and other devices > Bluetooth > 'On'

Same page, look under Audio, find the Hands-Free AG profile, click on it, then Connect

Notes:

1- Unless your headphones have Bluetooth Multipoint (the ability to connect to two or more Bluettoth devices at the same time) make sure you are not connected to any other audio profile.

2- Turn Bluetooth 'Off' in any other device within 10 meters of your computer.
