Windows 10: My headphones doesn't work unless i restart pc, and if simply pull the jack in and out it...

So basicly when turn on my laptop with my headphones already plugged in it sometimes work, but sometimes it wont, and then i have to restart to make it work. if i blug my headphones in after i have started up laptop it won't work at all unless i manage to put it on before the lock screen shows up or i have to restart it again. The mics does't work at all unless its the built in mic from the laptop. the troubleshooter doesn't find anything. I have checked updates and look at options but can't find what's wrong. Any suggestions on what to do?


I see people have a realtek audio menu, but i cant find that anywhere on my pc. Only that it is using realtek.

Audio doesn´t work aftter connecting headphones

Sometimes when i want to use the headphones, i connect them to my computer and then the audio doesn´t work, so i need to restart my computer and the audio returns, so my question is, why this happen? i don´t want to restart my pc everytime that i need the
headphones.

Audio jack doesn`t work

Today when i plugged out headphones, it doesn`t display that you`ve unplugged headphones, seems goes something wrong. Now i can hear sonud only from plugged headphones. How to repair this problem?

I did Step 1 and restarted my PC after the update and the headphone jack still won't work.

I tried to do Step 2 but when I reach the Playback tab it only shows an icon for speakers. There is no icon for headphones at all to select as default.
