Windows 10: my headphones sound is lower than before

My on-ear headphones, sound was lower than usual. When I go on the troubleshooter app, the sound suddenly turns back to normal. I did as told, and disabled all the enhancing properties, and pressed apply. But then my headphones volume was lowered when the troubleshooting app was closed. Can you help me bring my headphones volume sound to normal. I think I accidentally messed something up in settings. Thank you!

• What is the make and model of the headphone?
  

This could be due to the change in Balance levels of the playback device. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works.

• Right click the sound icon on the taskbar and choose
  Sounds.
  
• Select your headphone, and click on Properties.
  
• Click on Balance under Levels
  tab, adjust Left and Right to the same levels.
  
• Save the changes and check if the issue persists.

Step 1: Playing Audio Troubleshooter

1. Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar.

2. Click Troubleshooting in the search results.

3. Click "View all" and then click “Playing Audio".

4. Click "Next" and follow on-screen instructions.



Step 2: Set Headphone/Microphone as default device.

• 
  Right-click on the Volume icon in the system tray on the right corner on the desktop.
  
• 
  Select Playback Devices, go to Recording tab.
  
• 
  Right-click and set headphone/microphone as default device.
  
• 
  Click Apply and OK.
