Windows 10: My Headset Output Detected as Speakers in Windows, but Works as Headset in Other App

I am using the Razer Kraken V3 X headset, and it is being detected as "Speakers" in the Windows system audio settings. This causes issues with Windows system sounds and default audio output. However, in other applications e.g., Discord, games, etc., the headset is correctly detected and works without any problems.Steps I’ve taken so far:Tried setting the Razer Kraken V3 X as the default playback device in Windows Sound settings.Updated audio drivers and checked device settings in both Device Manager and Razer Synapse.Verified that the headset works correctly in applications like Discord and

since upgrading to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 ultimate my JBL Bluetooth speakers are being detected as a headset and they don't output any sound.

please help

 

Sound control panel issues (headset detection)

Just built a pc for my step daughter. Audio works fine when outputted to a display with speakers built in with no problems. But when attempting to use the speaker and headphone ports (either front panel, or directly from mobo in the back), the computer does not detect them (doesnt detect the headphone speakers, microphone seems to be detected but will not register any input to the microphone). It doesn't just seem to not detect them though, its detection is completely backwards. When I look in the sound control panel without any headphones plugged in, windows seems to think there are speakers (aside from the display with speakers built in)? And as soon as I plug in the headphones, It switches to saying disconnected. I have tried reinstalling audio drivers to no avail (tried different revisions of realtek audio drivers, from realtek website and from motherboard manufacturers website). I am absolutely stumped. I know the headset works, it works fine on my pc and my daughters nintendo switch. Here is a video of the sound control panel and its behaviour when plugging in the headset. Behaves the same whether i use front panel or back. Motherboard is B365M-HDV

 

Headset Detected as Speakers.



I
have an edifier speaker working... I tried to add up a headset using the front jack... My speaker stopped working and my headphones are detected as speakers. I even tried to change it from the audio manager, to confirm it is selected as headphones not as speakers.
But it stills appear in the playback devices as speakers... I even tried to transfer my headset jack to rear from front and removed my speakers. The result is still the same, I can only use either my speakers or headset because they are overlapping each other
as both speakers. Even though my Asus monitor HDMI speaker is detected properly. I am using windows 10 and ROG MOBO. I know this is an old issue but still an issue for me. Need help.
