    my high definition audio controller just stopped working after night.


    hi my hd audio controller audio just stopped working randomly so at first i tried to uninstall my realtek audio driver then reinstall then i tried to rollback my audio driver to a later update but it wont show. i need help with this and this has been the third day since it stopped working. i even factory rested my PC

    IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Not Working

    I realized your concern and will assist you to resolve the issue.

    I suggest you to update the driver and check if the issue persist.

    Follow the steps to Update the driver and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key + X key and click
      Device Manager.
    • Select IDT High Definition Audio CODEC on Device Manager.
    • Select the Driver tab.
    • Click on Update Driver.
    • Select the option “browse my computer for driver software”.
    • Select the option “let me pick up a list of device drivers on my computer”.
    • Select the High Definition Audio Device instead of IDT High Definition" And click next.

    High definition Audio Controller

    The sound system on my HP TouchSmart has stopped working. I have found a recent event log which states :- High Definition Audio Controller - Device migrated.

    Can you tell me if this is likely to be the cause? What does this mean? - If it is the likely cause how do I correct it? - Thank you in anticipation.

    NOT WORKING-Realtek audio drivers and Microsoft High Definition device

    I've seen some videos which just tell you to update Realtek HD driver to the Microsoft driver. Sometimes it works for a while then it stops working. I just go into Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers> Realtek High Definition audio (right click)>
    Update driver software> Browse from my computer> Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer> High Definition audio device. It should update.
