Windows 10: My 'Home' network won't work properly.

And yes I know Microsoft dumped "Home Network" some time ago but my problem is really messy. The oldest laptop recognises the youngest laptop and the printer over the "Network" but won't actually print and doesn't recognise the middle aged computer; the middle and youngest will both print happily but the middle only recognises the printer over the "Network" and the youngest recogises theoldest and the printer but not the middle !! A real mess. But my problem is that at this stage I need instructions in the form of which buttons to push and in which order. Any ideas?

How could this be? File transfer wizard won't work

It worked fine last week. Now when I go through the same steps I get an error message that says: The wizard cannot locate your new computer. Make sure the new computer is turned on and that your network is working properly. It worked fine before. I am doing the same exact steps. Is there something I could have done inadvertently to change this. Also, how do you check to see if your network is "working properly"? Thank you. Frank
