    My Hotmail account will not connect


    When I first upgraded to Windows 10 I set up my gmail and hotmail accounts in the native Windows 10 email app.

    Both were working when I first set it up a long time ago. Quite a while ago now, though, the Hotmail account ceased to work. I tried looking online for the proper smtp server and from what I could tell, it's supposed to be smtp.live.com, though I've tried a few different ones.

    Every time I try to load it, it says "We can't connect to smtp.live.com right now. Maybe sure you have a connection, then try again. Error code: 0x80072ee2."

    Can someone please help me get this working? I can't find any good information online at the moment.

    Outlook 2010 no longer deleting email from server for POP3 accounts

    I am only using the Outlook Hotmail Connector with one of my POP3 accounts. But I am using Outlook to download email for 5 or 6 POP3 email accounts. My POP3 accounts are working fine. I don't believe the Outlook Hotmail Connector has anything to do
    with the POP3 accounts that are not connected to the Outlook Hotmail Connector.

    The Outlook Hotmail Connector doesn't have any influence over any POP3 accounts and has nothing to do with anything but Windows Live and the Outlook folders that are connected to the Windows Live account. None of the personal folders (that are stored in PST
    files) are connected to a windows live account nor are they connected to the Outlook Hotmail Connector.

    I create new contacts in my Nokia 920 but they disappear. However they remain in my www.outlook.com account.

    I guess that the problema is connected with the migration of the Hotmail to the Outlook.com

    My Microsoft account is a original Hotmail account. When I create a new Hotmail account that migrated to Outlook.com I recover the missing contacts but duplicated the events in my agenda.....

    There is any possibily to delete the Microsoft account in the Windows phone?
