Windows 10: My HP elitebook's charging port light blinks white and red when I try to charge it.

I updated my laptop two weeks ago. An HP elitebook 4th generation. While it was updating, I noticed although it was plugged in, it wasn't charging and keeps telling me to plug in my computer. I tried turning it off while it said do not turn off and restarting it again. But since then it does charge anymore and eventually, the battery has died. Whenever try to charge it, the charging port light blinks red and white. The laptop won't even turn on and I am frustrated because it is a new laptop. What is happening and how do I fix it?

Charging

Later this afternoon, I charged my HP laptop. I turned it off. Since it is low battery, the light beside the charging port turned red. After a couple of hours, the light was still in red. I turned it on, and still it's in low battery. What I did next was,
I restart my laptop then it started charging but the light was still on red. It did when I update the Windows. What should I do to return it to normal or into white light when it is fully charged. I need the solution ASAP because it bothers me. Thank you!

From some days my laptop charging port light continuously and blink and does not stop glowing and blinking even i remove the charger.., please any one can me to solve this problem.
