Windows 10: My Hp laptop stopped charging and turning on

I updated my laptop to window 11 because I was trying to download a app that required to download Window 11, all of a sudden my laptop stopped charging, it started to discharge and it's finally dead. I've been trying to turn it on, it not turning on and it's not charging either.What can I do? My project is on it and I have a deadline.Hoping to hear from you soon.

My hp laptop wont turn on

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power

If this doesnt work, read this article its about
a dell inspiron but the same applies for you hp. It has some detailed step by step instructions

 

HP Laptop charging issues

My HP DV6-1190EV laptop recently stopped charging..u have to unplug and plug the charger to work..

I did buy a new original charger from ebay..

it gives me the 7% battery warning the laptop goes on hibernate and then u have to plug and unplug the charger several times to work.. it doesn't work if u plug and unplug the charger while it gives u the warning..

note that laptop needs a format 100%

any help?

Toshiba Laptop Not Holding Battery Charge  

attached is a pic of the internal of the laptop there does NOT appear to be a CMOS battery what should my next steps be? - fully charge existing battery and see if i remove it and install back teh next day whether its still fully charged? - charge the battery for 18 hours to charge the internal CMOS battery? - suggestions please as Im not sure
