Windows 10: My hp laptop used to be able to cast

HP LAPTOP WINDOWS 11 Miracast used to work on my laptop. Now it is telling me that miracast is not supported on my laptop. Found it Funny that it worked for nearly the last 5yrs I've had this laptop and decided to quit on me now. Before anybody asks I did all the troubleshooting and still is not working I did run nerdy wlan show driver And that's now telling me that wireless display supported: No graphics driver: Yes, WiFi driver: NoPlease helpThank you in advance,Sincerely,Anton

Cast to device not working in Windows 10 after upgrade from 8.1

Please confirm a couple of things:

• Are you using Edge browser to cast the videos?
• Is it specific to Edge browser?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

• Open Edge browser and access the video which you want to cast to your TV.
• Click on the Share icon on the top right hand corner of the browser.
• Among the listed devices select your device and check if you're able to cast the video.

How to Cast in Windows 10

Hi,

I am new to Windows 10 and am still exploring its features.

I played a video and found out a new option to cast my laptop's screen. However trying that option didn't help me, I just want to correct my basics here before I get into it. Here are my questions.

• Will I be able to cast my laptop screen to mobile phones? This includes Android, iOS & Windows devices.
• I was searching on the net for a How To document for the cast option and didn't find much information. Can someone provide detailed steps of how to use this feature.
• Does this feature uses bluetooth or just that the devices which we use to cast should be connected to internet or on to the same network?

 

NO LONGER able to cast laptop desktop to Samsung TV

Hi,

I'll keep it very simple. I used to be able to cast my laptop desktop to my Samsung Smart TV and I no longer can.

I've tried EVERYTHING suggested on several forums.

Now the culprit MUST BE your Miracast driver v3 (it used to work before this version).

When will you fix it?
